Americar The Beautiful
« on: September 09, 2013, 10:18:24 AM »
If you are on Facebook, you want to Like "Americar The Beautiful"

They post random pictures of car scenes and cars.

This 51 Kaiser showed up yesterday.  Look at the front grill guard and the right front fender antenna marker.
No info given on photo.

I bet Mom made the matching outfits.

Right front fender also has the usual hood closing chip in the paint next to hood.

That's a Van Auken grille guard kit...popular in the 50s. I have at least 2 NOS sets of guards...one to fit a Darrin! I also have an NOS set to fit a 49 Plymouth. Not my cup of tea, but maybe for someone else!

I have a similar guard on my 51 I think it also was for protection when you had to push your friends  car to get it to start

I think I spot a 51 Kaiser in this picture.  Counting the rows left to right, look in 5th row

Wouldn't be fun to flashback and just walk between the cars during the movie

also don't step in the oil spots from the fairly new cars in the pic. guess we shouldn't complain too much when we find a oil spot in our drive way
