Tail Light Lense Removal
« on: September 04, 2013, 10:15:38 PM »
I was trying to replace the tail light bulb on my 54 Aero. Removed the screw that seemed to be holding the lense, and I could not remove it. What am I missing here ? As I do not want to break the lense.

There's a rubber gasket that seals the lens against the housing. It's probably causing the lens to stick to the housing. Try working your way around the lens, pulling gently at it to pull it away. The bottom of the lens has a tab that fits into a slot so the top of the lens needs to come away first...it won't come off if you pull straight back on the whole lens.
