I went to a car show last month, and got 3rd place in the 1950-59 car section. The amzing thing to me was the gentleman that got both 1st and 2nd, for his 55, and 56 chevy's. He spent over $100,000 on just oneof them, and inside trailered them. I enjoy getting a trophy for my low milage 53 Kaiser Manhattan. Yet, It's the drive to the show and back home I enjoy most. Of course I really enjoy the people at the shows too. Talking with other old car nuts, and over all nice folks. It did make me wonder, how ticked off the guy might have been if my Kaiser ogt 2nd over his, or.. can I say a 1st, haha. you know, it's just for fun, yes, I would love to have a cool top mint car, say a Darrin convertible, Dragon, or even my Manhattan, but I don't want to ever get so caught up, that I would be mad if I lost, or didn't get 1st, or whatever. Just wanted to share this with everyone. I love old cars, and the cool, neat people you meet along the way.
