shifter
« on: January 10, 2014, 04:00:49 PM »
Anybody know where I can get a shifter and bracket that supports the linkage to the steering column?
Also I'm missing the dipstick for the engine and have not been able to find one. Is there one grime another engine that may work?
Thanks

I have a 1949 Kaiser Traveler Deluxe with a 226 and manual 3spd with o/d. In about the same condition as yours. Glad to see another one getting into loving hands. You might want to contact Joe Keys on here as he has a 1949 Kaiser Deluxe Parts car. Then if you have the time contact Larry Barker (Kaiser Store). I think I remember seeing a box at his place with one or more of the parts you need. His cell is 602-373-1456.
