Chasing Classic Cars
« on: January 10, 2014, 07:33:03 AM »
On TV last night, some collection seemingly in California maybe as the guy talked about then flying up to Klamath Falls to look at a Stutz.  But the vast collection had a '51 light gray Frazer convertible parked next to a '49 yellow Buick convertible. They never looked at or talked about the Frazer or the Buick.

The Deer park museum bills itself as the worlds largest collection of convertables. I have been there and it is a very impressive collection!

We toured the Deer Park museum as part of the national convention held in San Diego a few years ago. If you haven't been through the exhibit, it is worth a stop.

I didn't see that one but there was an episode not too long ago where he looked at a Dragon and mentioned that people used to call it the bat car because it looked like a bat. There was also a Darrin and he said it was a cool car and mentioned the doors sliding into the fenders.

Velocity Channel

Yes it is on the Velocity Channel which for me is channel 281 but of course will probably vary market to market. I too noted the show that had the Darrin and I think a 51 Frazer convertible, may have dropped post here.

No old cars owned.

The guy looked at both the Dragon and the Darrin on this episode but never went anywhere near the '51 Frazer convertible.

OK it was the same episode. I just didn't notice the convertible.
