4500 mile Aero
« on: January 22, 2014, 10:26:35 AM »
I've seen mention of this car a couple times recently, a '54 Aero with only 4,500 original miles.

Anyone have contact info for the current owner?

Not buying, just looking for some good quality photos.

Paul Brimm, a former member of the KFOCI had a 12K mile 52 that I had the pleasure of driving. It got me hooked on an Aero, it was the smoothest running and nicest driving old car I think I've ever driven. At the time, I could have purchased the car for $1 a mile...$12K, but passed because I thought it was too much.

This car was once owned by Harrah's and was sold during one of the big auctions after Bill Harrah died. I saw the car there shortly after the 1st auction. I saw it again at the Labor Day Kruse Auction in Indiana in 2002 or 2003. It did not sell because the owner had a reserve of something like $10,000 on it. I do not know where it is now.
