Interesting 53 or 51
« on: February 03, 2014, 01:08:34 PM »
Despite the fact that it is a 53 morphed into a 51 this is very interesting. 36,000 miles and everything inside appears to be original and in good shape though it shows its age.The white stripes on the outside bring forth the all to common "WHY".

It also has a 1951/52 Speedometer. Also the upper radiator hose "throat" on the head is offset - I wonder which car that is from and how well it works? That aluminum piece corrodes and is often bad so it'd be nice to know which one works if you can't find one. I think it looks pretty good and of course, I am partial to blues. I never cared for that striping either but you do see it quite often. The ad says it has an Allstate radio but it looks like a factory Henry J radio to me which is cool.
