Base Henry J on ebay

The bare-bones, 4 cylinder no overdrive example is not too bad looking.

Notice the Frazer owner's manual in the picture of the manuals is a Graham Paige issue.

Seller has four negative feedbacks within the last  mos so caveat emptor

Does look nice for the Henry J collector.  But it brings up questions from my uneducated self.  Is that color approximating an original color and did the factory in general paint Henry J's brighter, flashier colors to get them noticed?
No old cars owned.

The color looks like Blue Satin to me, a common '51 HJ color and matches the 330 paint code. The hue does shine a bit more. The door panel and seat material is not original but it looks pretty close. Henry Js all had rubber floor mats, not carpeting but what's in it looks nice. I don't like the fact that the door panels are fastened with screws but that was something a lot of car restorers had to resort to in the 70s and 80s when you couldn't find the proper clips (which were often rusted out and easily broken). So yes, it's not perfect or a points car but it looks like something you could get in and drive the store. A four without OD would not be a hiway car.  Again, that Graham Paige Frazer Owner's Manual that comes with it should be preserved.
