Orphan Car Show-Bothell, WA
« on: August 15, 2014, 12:20:25 AM »
We have only done a few car shows this year and the annual Orphan and Discontinued Car Show in Bothell, WA was one of them.  It's put on by Corvairs Northwest.  Because the show was moved a few weeks later than usual (the Corvair club had their National at the LeMay Family Collection in July), ours was the only KF product at the show.  No prize for the car this year, but I did win $107.00 from the 50/50 drawing and a nifty basket of Starbucks stuff!  Our car performed near flawlessly on the drive to and from the event.  Taking the back roads through some touristy areas was a real treat with people checking out the car!

Know of any orphan shows other than this one and the Ypsilanti show?

I'm sure there are orphan shows all over.  There isn't one place where all the car shows are listed, unfortunately.  I heard about this one from a friend, which is where I usually hear about shows.
"Near flawlessly", my clutch shudders too much when you slip it.  Too much oil on it probably.
