Car Auction Results in St. Henry, Ohio
« on: May 02, 2015, 03:40:44 PM »
Just attended this auction that had a 1949 Kaiser Standard as one of the cars to be auctioned.  The car ran well , the body was in good condition with some damage to the rear bumper and valance.  The interior was pretty nice but the front seat on the driver's side had one tear near the middle and was badly worn and thread bare on the edge.  The paint and chrome were presentable.  They stated the master cylinder probably needs to be rebuilt or replaced as the pedal went to the floor.  The car sold for $4850.00 plus, I believe, a 10% buyers fee.  This, in my opinion, was about what the car should sell for.
