I've never been to Hershey, but two years ago my family was traveling while the Hershey auction was going on so I watched it on my daughter's laptop. I was interested in a couple of cars so I registered to bid. Those two cars went too high, but I continued to watch (with the mouse hovering over the bid button just in case). One of the last cars in the auction was a Chevy 490 (like a Model T). As I watched, suddenly a "You Are the Winning Bidder" pop up came up! I had not clicked on anything. My daughter said, "Yeah, sometimes my trackpad clicks on things- I think something's wrong with it".
Knowing that the auction wouldn't buy my excuse, I sucked it up and became an antique car owner again for the first time in 20 years, of a car I didn't particularly want. At least it was the cheapest car in the entire auction. Here my daughter and I take delivery:
