54 Manhattan upper tail light gaskets?
« on: February 12, 2015, 02:01:41 PM »
I'm looking for a good set of upper tail light gaskets for my 54 Manhattan. I called Rudy Phillips already and he doesn't have any left so I'm hoping someone out here in Kaiserland will have a pair. I'm restoring my 54 K and I am collecting all the pieces needed, which there is a lot of!

Ok, since no one has gaskets how about just the end where the light bulb goes? Mine are both shot in that area, maybe I can glue two together and make one? Anyone out there that can help with that request?

You can use this rubber channel to simulate the gasket - and while it's not the correct part - it will give the same visual effect.

Where can I get that beading? It may be a little thick, but I'll need to lay it along side the gasket. Thank you for your response.
