The 51 we're restoring is in amazingly good shape - we pulled the clips out of the frame that the body bolts thread into and most of them are still green and shiny!
They have a large flat area with the body bolt spring clip/thread that sits under the top metal of the frame, a couple of wavy pieces that tie that over and down to the side clip, and the side clip that catches the inside of the side of the frame and has the "V" shaped piece on the outside of the side of the frame.
We have a couple rusty ones that could be saved, and one rusty one that is missing half the spring area.
Anyone have a source for these clips? Same as Willys or other KF vehicles?
