Back in California
« on: October 18, 2009, 04:30:02 PM »
Well,  I am back in CA after a whirlwind ten day 7,000 mile trip as far East as CT.  I drove my U-Haul to Hershey and it was fun to see so many of you.  I got my '48 Frazer to MO from CA and the last day I drove from Tucumcari NM to Los Angeles, over 1,000 miles and 22 hours of driving at 60 MPH.  You know I slept in the next day!  I found a nice K-F dealers award desk set in Hershey but did not see a lot of K-F stuff. I visited Kaiser Bill in Utah in August and it was fun to see his 120+  K-F cars all lined up in a field behind his home.  He has a great collection of cars and collectibles.  I guess I am done driving for this year!

Welcome back Gordie
Sounds like a long and fun trip. Are you going to RR meet this Saturday?

I'm going to have to make the trip out to see Kaiser Bill one of these days...soon...with a truck for parts :)
