RADIO FOR 1953 HENRY J

I would like to restore the original radio and if it is feasible have it converted to solid state and add AM/FM. Is this a Delco Radio. Who does a good job with conversions?

It is a Delco radio.  One place that does it is SM Electrotech in the Twin Cities. I'm sure there's others.
