Wanted: Shop, Parts and/or Wiring Manuals ('54 Kaiser)
« on: June 02, 2015, 09:51:34 AM »
Folks - I'm a newby with my Kaiser recently purchased, and in the process of rebuilding a car that sat for many years in a garage.
I know these books are not common, but are essential for doing the job right.  If need be, I'll buy the CD-ROMs but would prefer the books.
Thanks so much!

Tom

There was a Green/Black cover 1954 Kaiser parts book, but there was NO 1954 Kaiser Shop Manual.  You used the 1951 Kaiser & Frazer service manual, the 1952-53 Supplement and the various Service Bulletins issued by Kaiser-Willys Sales Corporation during the 1954 model year.  The older items reflect service and repairing of various mechanical systems carried over from year to year.

The service bulletins and all the secondary books (supercharger manual, etc.) will be in the next release of KFOCI HANDBOOK...what you will need to get are the 1951 shop manual and the 1954 Parts Book.
