Chrome Clips
« on: July 19, 2015, 09:37:09 PM »
There are a  few clips that have fallen off my '52 Kaiser Manhattan, particularly where the chrome fastens to the front of the hood (pictured below.)  Are these available at hardware stores or are they a special clip only found in Kaisers?  Where can I buy them?  I want to keep this car as original as possible, just like the guy who owned it before me.  Thanks~

The speednut itself is available at most hardware and auto parts stores. Take the screw with you so you get the right size. KF used three or four different sizes.

Today's version may look a little different, but their function is the same.
