I would buy this car just to sit in it! Most tasteful ,best executed non original Henry J interior I ever found and the 51 seats have been padded to the point they are actually very comfortable! I spent one hour this morning going over this car and left very impressed. It won a blue ribbon at a KFOCI meet in 1994( ribbon and trophies in back seat)and has sat largely unused but garaged since then. It has an accompanying picture album showing the frame off restoration it underwent. The current owner traded a Dodge Dart for it and really knows little about it. He has never seen it run .He's is rebuilding the carburetor after not being able to start it. I pointed out to him the absence of a mechanical fuel pump. It has an electric one he did not know about and therefore has been trying start it up dry! He is a nice guy, but clueless on Henry Js .The paint is bubbling off and will need to be sanded off to metal, not stripped due to old body work. The chrome is all finely pitted and slightly pitted ,but definitely salvageable.
Could not start or drive but liked very much what I found and would bid if I had room to put it!
