How does one get the wires out of the connector for the OD relay?  Time to replace the original wires on my unrestored '51 HJ!!

I would suggest you send the OD Wiring Harness (or cut the OD Relay Connector off) and send to Robert McBride at 81 Ipanema, FT Piece FL 34951. Contact hime first at 772-466-3510 for pricing. He can make you a new OD Wiring Harness for your Henry J. All he needs is your old connector. The quality is GREAT! He also makes all the other Henry J Harnesses.

Best,

I second it that.   He drills the rivet out of the center and replaces it with a bolt which cannot be seen but he also rewires it and does it with the correct gauge wire (which is very important in a  high current circuit like the OD solenoid) and using cloth insulated wire so it is period correct. He's done several for me and they look and work great.  Best of luck.
