transporting the hydra- matic
« on: October 15, 2015, 08:14:17 AM »
I am going to transport a hydra-matic and motor and was wondering if the fluid should be drained before I do (first hydro). also what fluid goes into it when ready.

I assume the engine/trans is not in a car. If so, be sure to drain the transmission - without the front driveshaft yolk in place, there's no seal and the fluid will drain. And the hydramatic holds a lot of fluid!
