I replaced my single action pump last year with NAPA AFP 572. I had to turn the lower bowl where the inlet and outlet ports are, 180 deg. to fit the Kaiser configuration. It works fine !

I have also used that pump. Guess where you can get at the lowest price?

I recently rebuilt the Carter pump for my '53- nice repair kit from a Guy in MA with bulletproof instructions. Works slickly and looks original cause it is.

Thanks guys---appreciate the info, the best for me would be a rebuild kit if someone has one or info on one.
I just think the diaphragm is stretched or has a tear in it. Haven't pulled it yet to see.
