Hello i am trying to get more information about this vehicle before we begin restoration i am sure most of you have seen it on the KF calendar , a long time friend and club member recently purchased it and has known about the car for at least fourty years but there is just not much information out there about it . I will attach information i found about the builder and although the car is mentioned that was about it . Harvey Carston Weiss of wheeling,Illinois built the car there has been rumors that other ones exist but i believe this is the only one . The car was built on a Henry J chassis and is all steel except the hood scoop . I found some advertising information on a historical newspaper website that indicates he also built a pickup ,the car was the Mark 1 and he called the truck the Mark 2 . The truck is simply a modified 52 kaiser and i think i seen this on ebay a few years ago it had stars across the front and i think was originally red ,white and blue ? Anyway if anyone that lives in the area of wheeling can do further research his business was on 489 north wolf road he was a dealer for studebaker,Triumph,Jaguar and later on Toyota it would be interesting to find out if he was ever a KF dealer .
