Correct as far as the geometry.
Take a look at my spare tire that has never been on the ground and the attachments and cover for it in my 47 Special.  I will provide the exact measurements for the plywood cover if someone requests it.

As I recall it (and it's only my recollection), the '47s had a board over the spare so I'd say it's correct but someone will have to confirm it.
