I think with a quick tune up and a little fresh gas we could...

Doesn't look much worse than the last "project" I brought home, besides it's too modern for my tastes it has a overhead valve engine.

It appears to be an F-head and could be a Darrin or Henry J frame and drive train.    Look at the Steering Column, the Clutch and Brake Pedals.   My take is that this is a Darrin Frame!!!!

The only thing I would question would be the oil filter housing on the wrong side----would that make it a Henry J Chassis?????   I am not that familiar with the similarity/differences between the Darrin and the Henry J frames.

It could be a Darrin - there is an exhaust pipe 'pass thru' on the outside of the left frame rail, or did the J's also have those? Of course, socks with sandals are optional!

It's a Darrin...or what's left of it. The radiator and the mentioned exhaust pass-thru on the frame are the giveaways.

Definately an F-head 6. My guess is that someone subframed a Darrin (or Henry J) and these are the leftovers.
