someone want to save this "two"-off car?

Here it is, a "1952" Traveler.

Someone besides Rick K got the bug to fill the KF factory void, but didn't complete or do as nice a job. But, it should likely be saved just for the parts, at least. I can't save any more cars myself....

Hey Guy, please learn your cars!

This is a 1952 Kaiser Virginian Traveler, a leftover 1951 model with new tags and a handful of minor trim changes.  It is not a later series 1952, of which only a few Manhattan 4-door types were built.  There are a number of the Virginian 4-doors around.

Ooops! What I MEANT to say is that there weren't many 'real' 52 Travelers built, and that they were virtually all Virginians re-serialized 51s. Now ISTR that there were what, was it 5 (or 10) built. ISTR also that if it was the model of which five were built, that at one time a few years ago, there were three running, and the other two were known?

Hi All,

I heard from the person who put the car on ebay.  Interestingly enough, the seller is not the owner as "he listed it for a friend" who told him what to list, and he assumed the "friend' knew what was what.   He said he would update the description as he's heard similar comments (it's a Deluxe not a Manhattan according to the tags showing) from others, and is trying to get a picture of the door post serial number plate.

As for the small number of 1952 Manhattan Travelers, I have a picture of one, taken at the 1952 Chicago Auto Show.  Actually, it's the rear of the car with two of the models hired for the show taking a breather on the tailgate.
