Hey guys when you adjust the valves on these cars do you take the intake and exhaust manifolds off....Is there an easier way......and does anyone have a diagram on adjusting them

Ok can you use just regular wrenches on this or do you actually need special wrenches.......

The manifolds can stay in place. There are special wrenches one can use to adjust the valves...they're thinner than standard but you can use regular ones.

Look on ebay for a set of Tappet Wrenches. They were common in the old flathead days. Chances are you'll find the set you need among these.

I don't remember the size required off hand. Perhaps Joe can elaborate on that.
