While driving my 53 Allstate yesterday, the speedometer started howling and the needle started turning all the way around, several times. It is now sitting on 30 MPH when the car is not moving. I lubed the cable and the portion that you can see on the back of the speedometer, and now it still shows 30 when you are not moving. It does however show 80 when your going about 45. Is there a way to fix this problem?
