Now home, 51 HJ
« on: October 01, 2016, 07:26:11 AM »
We just picked up our 3rd HJ yesterday and have it back to Canada from NY. Got it running on it's own after sitting 3 years. Now to do the few things to get it passed the safety. Is the material on the seats a factory material? Trim 4403-21.

Nice find and nice looking car.  REgarding the upholstery, the brown vinyl is original but as is often the case, the cloth inserts are  not. Trim code 4403 is   Shepherd Plaid & Burma Vinyl  which is probably the most common '51 Henry J upholstery.  It looks like this

In any case, the upholstery on your car is nicely done and looks a lot like some of the original upholstery  you see. My '52 has that Caribbean Plaid which is green and orange plaid.  Congrats and keep us posted on any progress.
