BATTERY TENDER ENDORSEMENT
« on: November 01, 2016, 07:13:21 PM »
I recently pulled my garden tractor spare 12 volt battery off the shelf.
It is a 2003 ENERGIZER that has been on a BATTERY TENDER constantly for the past 4 years.  Before those 4 years, it was used during the summer and put on a BATTERY TENDER during the winter months.
I just topped off the cells and it started the tractor immediately.

I use 6 volt BATTERY TENDERs on both my Kaisers and my Ford 8N tractor with similar results.

I'M SOLD ON THEM!!

I had similar results with a 12V battery in a generator and only changed it after 11 yrs because I was afraid it was so old it would expire mid winter.

On the other hand, my mower batteries go neglected and have expired like clockwork every spring the last few years, as soon as the warranty does.

Yes, I like the new chargers Today. They don't over charge & bubble the Battery dry...
