If I sound like a little kid at Christmas, so be it, because that is the way I feel.  Do you remember the green '51 Kaiser Deluxe for sale on this forum several weeks ago? ( I looked for the thread today and couldn't find it.)  I think that some of you thought, as I did, that it seemed to be an excellent car for the money.  Well, I bought it.  (See pictures below.) U just want to say that it is a wonderful car from end-to-end.  The only thing it needs is a paint job.  Actually, the paint is not that bad, but the previous owner told me that he wished it was better.  He was probably harder on the paint job than I am.

The best part of all was the truthful way the car was represented by the former owner.  What a gentleman!  He reminds me that there are still good people out there, that have a built-in sense of honesty.  Wouldn't life be so much easier and less frustrating if everyone was that way?  I have bought 6 classic cars in the last 3 years --- 4 from gentlemen similar to him and 2 from people I hope I never see again.

He also "threw in" some much-appreciated parts, an extra hubcap, a radio, etc.  The best part of all is the Kaiser lab coat.  I never knew a lab coat could excite me so much!  I almost feel (and told him so after the car was delivered) that the lab coat excites me nearly as much as the car.  What a find!  I'll treasure it!

Sometimes I complain too much.  I know it.  I expect a lot from everyone.  But, here is an instance where there is nothing but good things to say about a fine man who sold me his fine Kaiser.  Cars will come and cars will go, but being fair and honest is always in style.  I need to remember that.  It's just another reminder that we're in the people business much more than the car business.
