Prop rod clips
« on: December 24, 2016, 12:17:57 AM »
Prop rod clips
Does anyone repop them or does anyone have any for sale? I could use 9 of them.
They need to be made of spring steel, not sure how to get the roll in them without heat and that will take out the spring.
Thanks

The closest I've found is from a 97-2000 Jeep Wrangler. It's just the clip itself and doesn't look exactly like the Darrin version but is made of spring steel rather than cheap plastic.

There's several on ebay right now.

I used 3 on my Darrin. Hood rod, tonneau cover rod, and trunk lid rod. Part number 55075480AC, $3.25 list price at your Jeep dealer.  Maybe more if your local dealer does matrixing on his pricing.
