Title: Wire Wheel Covers

When I bought my Darrin, included was a set of wire wheel hubcaps. I decided to try to install them and found they're not correct - they stick out from the wheel almost an inch. I measured the mounting basket on mine and it's about three inches tall. For those who have wire caps in their car, how tall are yours?

The Kaiser wheel is about 1" wider than the Darrin wheel.
The basket on my wheel covers that are on Kaiser wheels measures 3" from inside to the wheel cover.
I put in a picture it is a little blurry.
