Title: Exterior visor...price?
Post by: rustanddust on December 19, 2017, 06:39:51 PM

What's a fair price for a mint outside visor for a 51 Kaiser? My car came with one and I prefer it without it....such a shame to hide that windshield!

I understand. On Old Style K.F. OK.
But on New Style Kaiser Hart windshield Unique Trademark.

If you have all of the attaching hardware, the visor would be worth around $200. There was a day when they brought more but their popularity isn’t what it used to be.

Excuse my dumb questions here but, I am just learning about these cars.
Was there ever a Sun Visor for the Willys Aero?
Is there anything close that I could modify to fit?  I was thinking maybe something from a '49 ford.
I would be all over the one listed here if I thought I could make it fit the Aero.

Thanks,  Rick

A company in Pontiac Michigan made a sun visor for the Aero's that they claimed would fit all Aero's except the hard top.  It is Pontiac Peckat Corp. and they sold for $14.93 in 1955.  There were also at least two companies that made continental spare tire kits for the Aero's.  Postcards survive that illustrate them.
