Looking into printing the hinge parts to eliminate hours of shaping, grinding, fitting, repeat...I have access to printing an actual plastic mock up first to confirm all is well.
Question: the pin itself, is it a simple dual diameter dowel with those deadmen pins in the actual hinge ears, or is it 2 separate, fitted, and pressed pins that make up the pivot pin. I can probably get through the actual scanning with out total disassembly, but need eyes on the actual pin to complete. If anyone has a disassemble hinge and managed to not mangle the pin, I’m looking for a few pics. 🤞

Darn...looks like I’m going stag on this one...

I had one fall apart on car #30 and the pin in it was one piece.

Ok...leads me to it being a dual diameter then. Going to carefully drill out the retainer pins.

The one I have has a shoulder on one side and a spline or knurle on the other side. I think that was original, not totally sure about that. The repops have a solid pin and a set screw that holds the pin in. I will take a picture of it and post it tomorrow.

Much appreciated!

here are the hinge pins I have. I am not sure if these were original or if someone made these as a way of not having to use a set screw to hold the pin in. Maybe someone out there knows. looks like more work then the set screw.
Hope this helps or it just may add to the confusion.

The pins are stainless steel the picture makes them look like brass.

THANK YOU LEE...It makes more sense now. Hate to ask, but could you mic the outside diameter of the pin itself? (middle of the smooth section) That should confirm if its the same:-) Mine are flat on both ends...no biggie, but the shoulder size to the actual pin appear to be pretty significant on mine...then again, pics can be deceiving...Greatly appreciated!

Fantastic! Ty...I'm sure these will have to be made too. Nothing close found. The little things are always a chore:-)
