While flipping through the November 2018 issue of 'Hemmings Classic Car', on page 10, there is a picture of a very custom designed creation which started life as a '47 Frazer. It is quite an interesting vehicle! The article states the car/truck was rescued from a junkyard by Mike Barker. Oh, this one wasn't built by a TV salesman in California either...sorry. I'd try to load the picture but don't want the copyright police to come looking. The car/truck is on display at the Sarasota (Florida) Car Museum.

There is another picture of that car in the 2009 KFOCI roster. It is a radical custom but I don't think that it was a pick-up.

The car in Hemmings Classic Car was a car Mike Barker called the "Batmobile" and is not a pick-up at all.
