Greetings. Looking to see if anyone has a decent plastic slide for the door track. I now have access to a 3D printer and wanted to see if I can make some slides. I have a few different materials to work with so if they turn out alright I’ll gladly send you a set.
Regards,
Noah

Just a point of interest, the slides were originally made of nylon (self lubricating). Several years ago someone had made replacement slides from Delrin ( self lubricating and last forever). I am not familiar with plastic printers, but the material that you make the slides from is very important. Don't want to damage the tracks and don't want to keep replacing the slides. I have the Delrin slides that I installed in 2010. The doors are still tight and rattle free.

Thank you for that great bit of knowledge! I’m looking into the different types of the plastic cartridges to see if I can find one that leans toward the nylon-like properties. Fingers crossed! Worst case, I come up empty and yield to trying to recreate the wheel:-) The last thing I want or need is to damage the tracks. That said, I’d love to find a set of the reproduction Delrin.

Seems to me that someone posted a link a couple yrs ago to some reproduction parts on ebay……………..maybe produced by Rudy's KF parts?
