Noticing comments from time to time that really serve no positive purpose.  Am making a helpful suggestion:  LIGHTEN UP.

There are probably lots of places where we could make changes in our club, many have been tried and after sixty years we have evolved into a system that works very well for the majority of us.  If anyone wants to see changes in how the club functions then get involved and help where it is needed.  We have at least thirty two dedicated members who work hard to bring us all of the benefits that this club offers.  Get involved in a chapter or on the national level.  There are plenty of things to do.  Alienating the many members who work hard is no way to make points or to make changes in the club.  Get to know the members and offer to help out.  You will really be welcomed.  National officers will be voted on this July and there is opportunity for anyone of us to really get involved and make a difference.

Most of us have probably heard: You are either part of the Solution or part of the Problem.

Guess which works?

One of my favorites and one that applies to this situation is "You can't be a beacon if your light don't shine". If you want folks to follow you, first you shine a little light.
