One of the most talked about topics today with any car club is getting folks interested in owning an older car and, hopefully, joining a related club. One way to spread the word is to take a vehicle to a meet or car show and tell folks about both it and the club. The problem is, aside from what’s listed in the monthly bulletin, most are unaware of shows that might be local to them. So, I’d like to start a thread listing local, regional or national meets and shows where KF and Willy’s vehicles would be welcome.
While it’s not car show season for many of us right now, feel free to list shows you know are upcoming so visitors to this site can plan ahead.
I’ll lead off. Every Tuesday from May thru October a car show is held at Solon Commons in Solon, Ohio. The show runs from 5-9pm and routinely draws 500+ cars. If you’re in the area, stop by!

This one is good for those in the MN, WI, IA and Dakotas. You need to check back often as it's updated frequently.

It also has links to the MSRA (Minnesota Street Rod Association) Back to The Fifties Weekend which is held at the MN State Fairgrounds in St. Paul each June. One of the biggest shows in the country. A good mix of originals, rods and customs that usually yields 11,000 cars or more. It takes place June 21 - 23 in 2019. Would be nice to get some more KFs there. One year I counted 12.

Here is one to start [attached]. Palmetto, GA is near the Atlanta Metropolitan area and airport. Although our meet started four years ago focusing on Packard and Studebaker-Packard products, we warmly welcome our friends who own Kaiser/Frazer/Willys products. We would certainly like to see these cars adding further class to what is already an outstanding show!

Based on the information everyone added to this thread possibly a section added to our newsletter and website listing the various sources (e.g., other printed info, websites, etc.) of show information would provide the info.

I won TOP 25 there a few years ago

Ohio members...
If you are not aware, Crawford auto museum has been offering their Coffee and Cars meets. They alternate between downtown CLE and some of their suburban warehouses to showcase some of the “behind the scenes work” and vehicles not currently on display.
Please see the pictures for information.

In California alone there are car shows and swap meets and car club events every week and hundreds every week all over the country and the world. KFOCI lists all of our club sponsored events monthly in our Bulletin. It is fun to travel and attend these meets.

We have in Huntington Beach, CA the original Donut Derelicts: https://www.donutderelicts.com
This started in 1986 by three people who just met a local donut shop and it started from there. No one runs it, no one is in charge, it goes rain or shine, although we don't have rain out here in SoCal, it's called "liquid sunshine". If you ever get out here, it's worth a trip very early every Saturday morning. Check it out.
