Title: Help identifying hubcaps needed
Post by: westmorland on December 27, 2018, 05:40:10 PM
So I just found a bunch of hubcaps when clearing out my late father’s shed. I know these aren’t KF hubcaps, those were easy to pull out of the piles, but other than the one that’s obviously a Chevy (not sure of year) I’m a bit stumped on what they’re from.  Anyone recognize them?

The cap in the lower left fits a 54 Studebaker. The two top caps sort of resemble 58 Studebaker caps - they might be generic aftermarket. The wire cap is definitely generic aftermarket. The Chevy cap is from about 1973-74 and probably fits something like a Malibu.

That makes sense. My dad liked studebakers, his family might have had one when he was younger.

Studebaker artifacts are considered symbols of the Devine by some people.
