Congratulations, it will be worth the wait!

What did you use for the rear bumper gasket?

What rear bumper gasket?? Post a picture!!
-
It is the 2nd picture it is really a stone guard to keep the stones from coming off the tires and shooting around the bumper and damaging the paint.
I used rubber that I got from grainger supply. I cut it 2” wide and use small metal screws to hold it on. I will find the part # and post it tomorrow.

Your build is coming along beautifully!
just for reference, McMaster-Carr has quite a large variety of rubber items, bumpers, sheet, grommets and really fast processing. I've placed orders in the afternoon and had them show up the next morning, ground rate UPS. Ebay is good for rubber sheet & rolls too.

Drove the car around the block today it ran great. Carb is leaking a little will take it off tomorrow and rebuild it. This is the first original car I have had in a very long time. All the wiring went well everything is working haven’t tried the overdrive yet. Hopefully I can finish this car in a month or two then on to another one. It will be a red one or a green one.
