So I think this is rare. A 1951 Traveler 2 door with Dragon kit. Maybe.

Dragon kit
??

I don’t Remember this Story in Last Onslaught ??? If I missed it What Page ???

A two door Traveler is a scarce car but red vinyl seat covers do not make a Dragon kit.
-
Sorry, I meant Virginian not Dragon. I saw the Continental spare tire carrier and what looks like the Virginian hood ornament.
But, nonetheless 2 door Travelers seem rare to me.

Two door Travelers are rare. We rescued one a few years ago and even in its sad state, it quickly found a home with someone who's completing a resto-mod restoration.
What looks like a continental tire carrier is actually the lower tail gate hinge. The license bracket is hinged as well so when the gate is lowered, the plate remains vertical.

I'd say it's not a Virginian. It appears someone added the black tube on the hood ornament to an early '51. The firewall has the hump for the early style radio. A Virginian would not have this.

Thanks guys I did not blow that rear photo up to see detail and overall do not see many 2nd generation Travelers to catch that. Now that I see what you mean I think the lower hinge looks pretty robust but placing it externally is not the most attractive.

Initial traveler production for 1951 used a solid color vinyl rather than the more luxurious vinyl used on the early Dragons. Under 1,000 2-door Deluxe Travelres were built in the 1951 model year. Check KFOCI HANDBOOK CD's for more info on this model.
