Update on # 232
Chassis with engine complete, body work and painting nearly done.
Working on Red , yellow and green Darrins now.
Also took on Victoria Haskins X7 Prototype.
All these Darrins will either Kill me or keep me alive.
Good thing I live in Arizona I can work all year long.

Awesome, keep it going!! Especially for the prototype!! Yea!!

Thanks for keeping these great cars alive and well. Hemmings shows a dark green Darrin coming up for auction in Florida.

Very nice! I'm plugging along with one project and can't imagine juggling all those. If you're taking one of those TV ad "performance enhancers", let me know which one!

Not taking any of those just a lot of over the counter vitamins.
They all take years to do. I will be 75 in June but I can’t slow down.
I really enjoy doing Darrins and my brother helps. I try to get out of the garage by 3:30 and I start at 9:00. Nd the weather in Tucson is usually nice. No snow and not much rain.

Lee - you pinged me some time ago about info around the Haskins X7 car. I dug thru my files and have very little. I have some notes from a conversation with Russ Spalding many years ago and in it he said that two of the split windshield cars were used by the factory as test mules. He took some of the pictures that exist today and recalls one of the cars had at least two different engines in it. My notes don't say which car.
Old rosters identify Mike Haskens as the owner in California.
An interesting side note, I now own the hardtop from car X6. It needs restored...care to take on another project?
