Title: Tom Wilson collection
Post by: joefrazer on December 27, 2019, 01:36:49 PM
Some of you may remember Tom Wilson from the "old days". An early member of the club, he owned several KFs such as the Sun Goddess, several Frazer convertibles and countless other Studebaker, Packard and AMC automobiles. He was also the fellow who cosmetically restored the AMP Henry J prototype.

Tom's car collection is now at auction and here's a link to the sale -> https://www.auctionzip.com/auction-catalog/43rd-Anniversary-Auction-900-Lots-including-Collector-Cars,-Signs,-Slot-Machines,-Motorcycles-More_D02W192OVJ/

Do a search for Wilson to see the seven cars available - one of which is an ultra rare Davis three wheeler.

The 48K brought $3250, strong money considering it needs everything but does run and drive.

The 48 Frazer fetched a very respectable $6250. A nice car that was a good buy.

Tom also had a couple 58 Studebakers in the sale that brought around $5-7K each.

His 67 Ambassador convertible sold for $7000.

The high bid for his 48 Davis Divan was $80,000. Very well bought and very well sold.
