Title: Pain
Post by: Carpenter on April 18, 2020, 01:24:21 AM
I'm still dealing with lower back pain and wobbly knees from being rear ended 2 years ago...just in case my thoughts have been missed.  Have had shots in the back and will be getting more Wednesday April 22.  Hoping to be walking normal on my 81st birthday on April 28.  Except for this setback, I feel great, an minimal medication for my back.  I still think the 54-55 Manhattan is the most stylish auto on the road.

Welcome back and hang in there.  I am 87 and just had my first knee replacement surgery and can barely walk after a month.  This getting old is not for the weak!  I sure agree about the '54's but they all have a special charm.

Gordie, it's the body that gets old.  I'm still in my late 30's.  I checked at Walmart for new parts and they have them, but they are Chinese and too small...lol

I've always gotten mine at Pep Boys but now my parts are no longer in the computer!

Except for what we do to ourselves with food and non-food intake, and what others do to us...ala collisions, our health is controlled by our attitude.  My 2 cents.

Got another set of shots in the back yesterday.  I'm thinking there is some improvement.

Good luck!  A painful back stops your mobility completely.  I think that we all have too many aches and pains.

I was doing roof repairs about 5 years ago.  Inactivity is what hurts most.  Shots from Monday are working.  I'm just a little wobbly, but walking without assistance.
