want to let everyone know that the 2022 KF convention will be held in Jackson Michigan the assembly plant of several Kaiser cars most notably the Kaiser Darrin.
The owner of the Hackett Auto Museum in Jackson Michigan , Ted O’ Dell is going to help put on the convention with the midwest division. We all want to try to have the biggest turnout in a long time. There is a lot of automotive history there and a big turnout of KF cars especially Darrins would be great for our club. We will try to get the dates as soon as possible so all of you can plan to be there.
Lets make this the best convention in a long time.
Keep it in mind maybe we can get 100 cars there wow that would be something. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
Hope to see all of you at the 2021 convention in Rochester NY.

This is off the subject, but I know you have vast experience with Darrin cars. I think my Darrin trans shifter has too much "slop" in it. Is there adjustability in the shifter or? Thanks for any help on this matter. Thanks in advance. B. Morgan

If you take the top off the shifter you may be Able to add some shim washers to the shaft ends. Also check The shift rods to see if the holes in the shifter and the transmission shift levers are warn. You can put in bushings or weld and redrill. Sometimes the shift rods also ware weld and grind.

There is a kit for this. The HJ shifter is the same as used on a chevrolet of the same year. I've used the kit and I've tried every adjustment . Nothing really worked.
