Title: HENRY J REAR BRAKE CYLINDER

FINALLY  got my cylinders.
hole for bleed valve is off by about 1/16"--too close to mounting hole
anybody have this experience?
safe to drill it bigger?

Exact same thing happened with me. I bought them, and couldn't install them as they were off by about 1/32" - just enough to make it impossible to use.  I did use the innards to rebuild the ones I had.

i used a Dremel to open up the hole
I though maybe this misfit was indicative of other problems
it's in..see what happens

Curiously, I purchased a set of Centric wheel cylinders for my 54 J and everything fit without issue. But, that was about two years ago.

maybe the ones I got were made on a Friday
