Title: Membership Renewal
Post by: larryk on November 25, 2020, 11:50:50 AM
Received a postcard the other day reminding me that my membership is expiring soon.
I went to www.kfclub.com (http://www.kfclub.com) to take care of it, but did not find the option for the $25 Electronic membership option.
Is it coming with the new website, or am I missing something. (My membership doesn't expire until February)

Sorry for the inconvenience, we are working to resolve the problem.

You can renew now at the new level by sending a check/money order to our Membership Manager (address is on the postcard you received) or wait until the new website is up.

Thank you Barbara!
I will wait for the website. As stated, my renewal isn't due until February.

Why aren't we accepting renewals at the old rate until the new price kicks in at a future date?  That is an incentive to renew early.

The website will not allow 2 different rate scales at the same time, so we had to go with the new (increased) rate only.

That  is an incentive to renew early.

The new rates are effective 1/1/21 for all renewals due after that date, as detailed in the Bulletin. No discount for early renewals.

Now I am confused again.........................
I received an e-mail concerning renewal and it stated that I could renew online or by snail-mail check.

For those that would rather renew by mail, please send a check payable to KFOCI to:
KFOCI
PO BOX 255
Brandon VT 05733
US membership  $35
Associate membership $5
Canada membership $45
International membership $60

I thought the US membership was $50 for printed bulletins or $25 for electronic. ?????

Those were the rates for 2020 renewal dates. The increased dues are for new members and renewals due on or after 1/1/21.

I realize that. My post was more about pointing out the fact that the current website is generating automatic and misleading e-mails. When does the new website come online?

Sorry. My fault. I thought someone else edited it when the new rates were uploaded. It is now corrected.

When does the new website come online?

Initially planned for launch this month, but a lot still to be done.
