Title: Kingpins part 2
Post by: kf5336 on April 30, 2024, 02:35:06 PM
I will be replacing kingpin and bushing in the left front of my 47 Frazer this weekend.  Some time ago I purchased a kingpin set from one of the club vendors with part #205777 on box which is supposed to fit my car.  Further research or over research came up,with part #30223 from outside vendor but application is for 47-55 KF. I want to be sure I have correct part.  Does anyone know what the #302223 fits ?

Some KF suspension parts fit other makes as well. Most independent auto makers didn't design their own components, instead they used off the shelf parts. King pins are one of those items. A 302xxx part number sounds like Mopar to me which would make sense since there is some interchangeability with some of the components.

Circle KF was a HUGE help in both the service and parts categories in resolving my questions.  The new kingpin took care of a minor steering wobble even after adjusting the steering box and replacing the center link pin and bushings.
