Hi This is Tom Silver and I just purchased a 1952 Kaiser Manhattan and I just joined the club. Here are some links to youtube commercials made in the 1950s that show Kaiser Cars made from 1950-1954. This is great rare footage that all of you might enjoy watching. Here are the links to click on or to paste up and watch.

It goes to show...
1. The 1954 Kaiser Commercial is something I created back around 1980. George Buchinger had SILENT footage for the 1954 Kaiser and I had a radio commercial for the 1954 Kaiser off an episode of SUSPENSE the week that year that Auto-Lite (the show's sponsor) saluted Kaiser as a user of A-L parts. With a bit of creative editing I gave the silent film sound.
2. The 1950 commercial (as titled) is in fact done during December 1947 (the Kaiser has 1948 style hood scropt, the Frazer 1947 individual lettering). This was another Buchinger item, and may be the oldest postwar auto commercial to feature pictures, sound and musical score on film. I say postwar because I have some 1942 oldsmobile items that McCann-Erickson did for use on TV; unfortunately about the time the commercials were done, America entered the war and car production was suspended.
3. Where's the 1953 Kaiser Dragon TV ad? They show the 1952 Kaiser item from an hour-long special "auto show" program Auto-Lite sponsored, and the 1954 Kaiser and Aero Willys from that year's special (the last of this type show Auto-Lite did)...but what about the 1953 program which also had a great ad for the 1953 Hudson Jet?
I've got over 4 hours of old TV ads for car companies in my old TV show collection
