Anyone on the chat ever sold a current club member named Ernest Simpson from Indiana any KF Parts or Literature and are "still waiting to get paid"? I got a call from another club member yesterday saying he and and another member are lined up behind me awaiting that "soon to be sent" check. Now I'm not saying anything, I'm just saying , hmmm....

I'm sure you guys never sent the merchandise so you are ok. Just another name to delete.

This guy called me about five times asking for parts. Every time I pressed him for information about what cars he had he evaded the question. He was always looking for show quality parts and seemed to need a lot of hard to find items........ I never sent him anything and eventually he just quit calling. Perhaps the Village Smithy is operating from his new goverment home ?????

....Gordie, I reread my post and realize I wasn't very clear. Yes, we all sent parts. Fortunately my loss was small as he sent some parts back saying he couldn't come up with "all of the money." My loss was only $35 after the parts recoup, but the other 2 guys sent $125 and $135 worth of parts I believe. My bad deal was back in 2009 and I changed my policy of shipping parts without payment to those I don't know as a result. The other guys were Feb 09 and Dec 09 so it "appears" he has a bad pattern going. Phone number apparently doesn't work. I've dropped it and moved on due to length of time and small loss. I was just curious to see if anyone else on the chat met the same fate. Watch out for this guy is all I'm a saying!

I talked to him two weeks ago about some parts he said he needed for his 55 willys ,gave him some pretty reasonable prices but he said he needed to think about it . Never heard back although i do still have his number somewhere if anyone needs it .

...wow, bad dates!!! I meant Feb 2010 and December 2010 for the other 2 parts sellers. Maybe this is why I'm still writing 2010 as the date!!? Point is, the most recent seller was this past December.

Clinton is a small town in Western IN. The guy sure would be shocked if you all showed up at his door step! I recall another member a few years ago who was a bad apple too and was caught stealing K-F parts from vendors at swap meets. Many of you remember him but don't use his name here. Too bad but we just have to get all of the money up-front if we don't know the buyer.
